A: Well, there are a lot of tricks that you can use, and they're not that hard to find. In fact, if you just go do a Google search for Black Hat SEO, you'll find everything you need to know as far as tricks to get yourself highly ranked go. We're not going to write any of them down here, though.
Why not? Well, first of all, they're unethical. Secondly, though, and much more practically, they're temporary fixes. Eventually, Google catches on to all of the tricks out there, and any sites that get ranked by using these tricks eventually get unranked or possibly even blacklisted by Google.
So how do you get your site ranked well? Content. Build a site with lots of high quality, original content. This is going to do two things for you. Number one, Google will see all of that original content and it will help to build your search engine rankings organically. Number two, it will get humans reading your website, returning to your website, and (most importantly) linking to your website. These two things are the most sure-fire way to get yourself to the top of the Google rankings in your niche.
